Sold a new collection

I’ve signed a contract with NineStar Press for a collection of short stories and novelettes. It’s a mix of new material and reprints, from both Storm Duffy and Jules Jones. This means that a couple of shorts have been pulled from distribution so they can be included in the collection. No release date as yet, and indeed we haven’t started work on the editing so I’m not going to put up a list of contents for now; but it will be out in 2017.

Available for pre-order: In Like Flynn 1

Some news on the writing front – I’ve sold a short story series to NineStar Press, and the opening story is now available for pre-order before release day on 2 January 2017. 🙂 Details below, along with selected links (I haven’t had a chance to chase them all down yet, but am assured by my Shadowy Mistresses that it will be available in all the usual places).

A Collision with Reality

by Storm Duffy

acollisionwreality-f500-400x600

Flynn’s new boss is so hot he can’t wait to get home to tell the chatroom how much he wants Dom’s cock down his throat. By Friday, he’s shared quite a few thoughts on what he’d like his boss to do to him. But he’s not as anonymous as he thinks, and Dom’s intent on disciplining him for breaching company policy on social networking. Dom gives him a choice of put up or shut up: he can play out the fantasy in real life, or he can walk out of the office without a word to HR as long as he never talks that way about Dom again. Flynn chooses “put up”—but he’s forgotten about one of the things he said he wouldn’t mind doing.

Car Wash temporarily off sale

My erotica short Car Wash is temporarily off sale. This is for an excellent reason – there are plans afoot to reprint it in a collection. 🙂

I’ve pulled it from Amazon and from SmashWords distribution, although you may find it still available on third party sites for a week or two. On current plans it will be back in a new format and with new friends sometime early in the new year.

My kingdom for a pen

I have bought approximately one billion Parker Vector fountain pens over the years. How many can I find this morning when I need one for a photo? Precisely one. The one with a Batman logo on it, which is not what I need right now. I need something that has clean lines, is undeniably a fountain pen, and has a nice cylindrical barrel in a solid colour  without logos. That is why I want one of my Vectors, and not one of my Platinum Preppies, however pretty they might be.

Even the box with my calligraphy set is bereft of pen. There are the other nibs, there are the fancy colour cartridges, but of pen body there is no sign. I don’t think the spousal unit would have raided the box itself, but I may have foolishly left the pen on my desk unattended.

I may have to buy a new one. That’s a guaranteed method of ensuring the strays reappear.
